Does Google Analytics slow down page loading?

Matt Cutts answers one of the questions that many people have been asking him on his twitter account. Does Google Analytics slow down page loading? What some people were thinking was that having the Analytics code would make the site load slower and therefore affect our rankings. Matt denies it on this video and explains that the new asynchronous Analytics code does not increase the loading time.
