From Vice Media’s Basement to an Independent Global Agency

Founded by CEO Nick Beck, Tug began life in the London basement of Vice Media, surrounded by magazines. Now, we’ve grown into an independent, global brand and performance agency that helps brands anticipate change, innovate quickly and deliver real business results.

Nick took his experiences working at big player Ogilvy Interactive, where the opportunities for PPC growth were emerging. At that time in search engine marketing, everything was accountable.

It’s why being hands-on is in Tug’s DNA – we still treat every pound and dollar like it’s our own.

Over the years, we’ve added more channels and capabilities, yet, like our campaigns, the agency continues to improve and evolve. We never stand still. We’re always striving to optimise and refine what we do.
