Facebook CTR’s on the rise & CPC’s falling

Good news for budding search marketers today as 2 reports have been released which show click through rates from Facebook advertising have been rising steadily in Q3 along with the average cost per clicks decreasing. It was reported that the average CPC fell 40 percent in the United States and 27 percent in Canada. Spruce Media have put the cost per click decrease at 18.2 percent in comparison to Q3 2011. CTR’s have also been increasing at a very fast rate which is great news for any advertisers on Facebook. This shows Facebook efforts to increase user interactivity and provide a higher return for advertisers has not been in vain. You can find the charts from each report below:
