Google Sued for Making Google Maps free!

Gotta love the French! A French mapping company has successfully sued Google for close to Half a Million dollars for undercutting their dominant position in the marketplace. According to them, Google has eaten all the costs of produing their beautiful maps in order to take a dominant position and kill off competition. But I thought Google did no evil? I thought they were investing in this technology to make valuable information more accessible to the world? Or am I just being naive. Yes I am. I agree with the French – well done Bottin Cartographes!
