Large Video SERP in Google

It appears that Google is once again testing large video thumbs in their SERP.

In this example it is for songs that have videos:

Interestingly the placement looks a bit like you can play the video within the SERP (clicking in fact takes you through to YouTube).

If this did develop into video plays in SERPs it could spell the start of what has been predicted as an inclusion of wider content into the Google Search experience.

At the moment the most it is showing is further evidence of the knowledge graph and content from highly categorised sources such as music catalogues.
