Publicly Available Data in London Visualised

by Chris Mead | 22.07.2013
Privacy concerns are a constant hot topic of conversation and have shot more noteably to the forefront thanks to increased connectivity to the internet,  advent of social networks and more recently,  NSA revelations.

Huge swathes of public data is collected by social networks and other online platforms constantly, from Tweets (all of which report geolocation) to Foursquare check-ins and publicly available transport information – it’s all there.

Watch_Dogs WeareData have gathered and mapped all of this authorised, legally obtainable data onto a live geo-location based visualisation in  London, Paris & Berlin. The result is both beautiful and scary – well worth viewing.
