Google to build wireless network

by David Brooks | 24.01.2013
Last year Google rolled out it’s own fibre network in an effort to improve internet speeds across the US. Now Google have decided to make a move into the wireless business, this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone with Google already owning Motorola and also running Android. Google have applied for a license to build an “experimental radio service” from within the Google campus. The hub will be located in the same building as the Google Fibre office. It is not yet known whether Google plan to make this a new network to sell to it’s Motorola and Android customers of it is purely for internal testing purposes only.
