Tug launches SEO/PPC/SMM campaign for Bombardier – Bang On!

Bang On! Tug appointed to deliver search marketing campaign by Bombardier, the premium ale from Wells and Young’s

 Wells and Young’s, along with their advertising agency, Karmarama, has appointed search marketing agency Tug to deliver a search marketing campaign designed to increase brand awareness online and drive engagement of Bombardier, the brewery’s flagship cask ale brand.

 Tug will be responsible for strategic and tactical SEO and ongoing link building to improve and maintain competitive natural rankings. This will run alongside a highly targeted PPC campaign to promote immediate awareness in the interim. Tug will also work on improving brand awareness in the social sphere with a clever Facebook strategy driving traffic to view the content produced. The campaign will primarily target 35-55 year olds, but with the social strategy, hopes to also garner new fans outside of this audience.

 The campaign kicked off in May with an ATL campaign starring Rik Mayall who portrays the character of the Bombardier. The main TV ad was spun off into a longer viral piece, and related video content is being created on an ongoing basis to help celebrate key summer events important to English ale drinkers.

The Bombardier is a dashing hero, revered by his men and loved by everyone who meets him.  He’s the epitome of great character and taste and just like the beer, it’s Bang On for the target market.
