March Update to Google Page Rank

We have recently launched our site and have started link building. Everyday I check the Page Rank and number of backlinks as if the site is a tender sapling. Well woke up this morning to Google recording backlinks for the first time but dropping us to 0 page rank… The cruelty… Check this article about the update
