About the Job

The Snr. Digital Strategist will be responsible for owning the omni-channel digital media strategy for all key clients as well as working with the new business team to help crack briefs and tell a pitch winning media story. Your contributions will be crucial in leading our brands’ media strategy to ensure KPI smashing results.

  • Planning – Introducing a planning approach to Tug that elevates our digital strategy capabilities.
  • Omni Channel Strategy – Working with both client strategy and specialist teams to create ongoing digital strategy plans for key clients.
  • New Biz – Owning the top level strategy of all key new business briefs and ensuring the Tug specialists are on board.
  • Data storytelling and visualization – Being able to simplify complex data to tell a story the client can buy into.
  • Intelligence tools- Introducing and owning key 3rd party tools to show data insights about client audiences.
  • Data Analysis – review data and extract insights that help guide strategy.
  • Innovation – Ensuring Tug are at the cutting edge of digital marketing and strategy and building relationships with 3rd party vendors.
  • Agency Training – As our lead strategist we will be looking to you to help increase our strategy capabilities across all Tug staff.
  • Strategy Roadmaps – where transformation is required, work with the teams to ensure innovation roadmaps are built.
  • Thought leadership – Ensuring Tug are leaders in the digital marketing space Contributing and leading strategy section of client QBRs.
  • Taking briefs from key clients. Being able to ask challenging questions to get to the crux of the clients business objectives.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in digital planning and strategy.
  • Covering ATL (CTV, Audio, DOOH etc) as well as Performance (Search, Social, Programmatic etc).
  • Extensive knowledge of the media landscape with a focus on digital marketing and strategy.
  • Ideally knowledge of SEO & Content and where they fit in the digital ecosystem
  • Ideally some hands-on experience of at least one key digital marketing channel.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, data intelligence tools and an ability to review data.
  • Ability to translate client business goals into cohesive, articulate, and insight driven media strategy and tactical media plans.
  • Experience working and getting the best out of specialist teams.
  • Experience working with New Business teams and on pitches.
