About the role:

Tug requires a SEA Account Director to join our growing Media team. We are a results-driven company that treats all clients equally – no matter what their spend, our objective is to continually improve their campaigns. We have a wide range of clients across many interesting verticals. Tug offers its clients integrated SEA, Display, SEO, and Social Media solutions. We are a fun, ambitious digital agency looking for an energetic professional.

Responsible to: Head of Biddable Media

External Relationships:  Blue chip and SME clients on both marketing and technical teams

Internal Relationships:   MD, SEO team, PPC team, Client Services, New Business

Salary:  Competitive Salary (depending on experience)

Hours:  9.30am-6.00pm

Location:  Shoreditch

Main duties

The Account Director will be responsible for the clients paid search accounts including strategy, planning and execution

  • Set up new PPC accounts across multiple search engines Inc. Google & Bing
  • Day to day contact with both clients and search engines
  • Operational lead and management of existing PPC accounts across multiple verticals & countries
  • Ensure accounts achieve clients KPIs and business objectives
  • Forecasting traffic and cost for new and existing accounts
  • Management of Paid Social (inc. Facebook advertising) & Youtube campaigns
  • Management of tracking, analysis and insight
  • Weekly & Monthly internal and client reporting
  • Face to face meetings with clients
  • Managing client needs and expectations
  • Daily optimisation of accounts for continual improvement
  • Management of PPC Account Executive
  • Innovative and strategic thinking on all client activity

Skills, knowledge and experience required

  • 4-5 years minimum SEA experience – preferably agency side
  • Expert user of 3rd Party Bid Management/Tracking solutions (DoubleClick Search, Kenshoo, Marin or Search Ignite)
  • Paid Social (Facebook/Twitter) & Youtube experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts & strategies
  • Proven ability to think strategically for PPC clients
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Articulate with good writing and client facing skills
  • Experience managing an Account Executive
  • Fully GAP qualified
  • Analytics package knowledge
  • Interested in SEM and the digital media in general
  • Team player
  • Additional European language a bonus
